Hello, I’m Ray.
I started BootstrapWebsite.com in 2014 because I believe that there are many people out there (like myself) who want to build a Website, Blog or an Online Store, but do not have any programming knowledge.
As a result, they often either remain stuck, or they engage a developer for 4 to 5 figure sums to get their website up.I know this because my friends and I have been through it.
On this site, I’ll share what I’ve learnt about building Websites and Online Stores that you can use to build your own website/store with at a low cost and with no programming knowledge.
How do I know how to build a website?
I cannot write a single line of code but I’ve always been wanting to build websites and sell things online. After being pointed to the right tools by a programmer friend, I have used Joomla and WordPress to build websites, and got very lost fitting in the various pieces. I’ve also tried various online shopping carts to sell things online and nearly pulled out all my hair, trying to integrate the payment and check out processes. I’ve just spent way too much time and had more missteps than I cared to count, rather than publishing great content and selling products, which is what I should have been doing.
I want to save you time going through the same missteps by and putting together a complete resource you can use. Learn how to do so by checking one of my guides below.
I do need to emphasize that I do not know everything. There are just so many people out there who know much more than me.
What I try to do is to share the most simple, low-cost solutions that non-programmers like myself can implement - so what I show on this site, you will be able to follow.
Along the way, you will find me sharing about various resources that I’ve personally used or tested. If it works well, I’ll share it, so that you can save the time that I’ve spent researching and trying all these years.
Let's get started, shall we?
